In case you haven't heard already, I haven't been updating anything here because I haven't been doing any brewing activities. My efforts have been focused on Darryl's Couch; a real bar located just a few miles away. Due to California laws, you can't buy Boney Peak Brewing beers at the bar, but there's many other craft beers on tap and bottles.

Like the page, come by the bar, and have a beer!!

The posts and updates here have been a bit slow... disappeared for a bit really. In case you haven't heard, I've started a new venture and it's been taking a lot of my time:

I purchased a beer & wine bar in Camarillo, CA and I've been working to turn it into Camarillo's Craft Beer Destination!

If you haven't already, I'd ask you to like Darryl's Couch. If you have liked... have you been by? It's open while we make the changes I'm working on, and now it the perfect time to see the "before"!

Four beers entered into the Ventura County Fair for this year: IPA, Wheat, Red, & Stout. Hopefully I'll fair as well this year as I did last; 3 entries, 3 ribbons!

Yes, it's been decided: This is brew day! Brewing up an IPA and including some homegrown cascade hops. Also, tapping a new wheat & IPA keg!

Did lots of cleaning today! The primary and the kettles are clean so I'm ready to brew. The ESB is in the secondary now, and bottles are clean and ready to bottle the Honey Blonde (I'm just soaking labels off them.)

Heads-up: in about 3 weeks there's going to be lot's of beer here available to drink. If only there was some special event going on around then.
