I've been receiving questions as to the outcome and where do I go from here.
The bar is back into VFW's hands with Steve Nixon as the commander who will be known as "the Commander who shut down the VFW". Rumor has it they will open back up as a private club but it may be awhile.( I still hold the Liquor License).
I am taking a break from looking for another venue so I can work on the band. We didn't work as much as usual while I owned Heroes but now, we're excited about getting out there and seeing all the friends who couldn't see us at Heroes.
One last thing. The friends Heroes Bar and Grill and Dougie G's Lounge are exceptional. I'm glad we are still getting together at different venues. There are a lot of longtime friends that met at Heroes/Dougie's. I miss you all.
