Billy's Tavern CLOSED Billy's Tavern is a family-owned, Irish Tavern in the classic tradition. Our motto is eat, drink and be local.

Open seven days a week, Billy's offers an impressive selection of fine whiskeys, imported and domestic beer and wine along with a full menu featuring pub fare and specials. We make every effort to purchase provisions from local providers and all our meats and fish are delivered fresh daily. We also offer local oysters on the half-shell and have been told we serve the finest pint of Guinness outside of Ireland!

It's been a fun ride but we're closing down Billy's Tavern.

The good news is that we are leasing the space to Vicki Fales who owns the Waterworks. On March 6th she will open The Water Dog Tavern. It will be open for lunch and dinner and she is excited to carry on with the Mug Club and the hugely popular live music events. We're glad Thomaston will still have its own pub, we think she will do a fantastic job and we wish her all the best.

We would love a chance to hang out with all of our friends as much we can so...the bar will be open every night this week Monday through Friday. We think its fitting our last night will be our Single Malt Whisky Tasting on Saturday March 1st!
