Thank you for a great 35th Annual Thomaston Car Show! A huge shout-out to every volunteer and participant—and to all the local businesses whose generous donations helped make this event happen.

Thank you to everyone who supported local and stopped into Black Rock Tavern throughout the day. And finally, thank you to our amazing team for working so hard and making everyone feel welcome. We couldn’t do it without you!

🌧️ The rain may be making us hit the brakes this morning—but nobody is giving up just yet!

The Thomaston Car Show organizers are still hoping to move forward with a later start once the weather clears. Keep an eye on their page for the official timing update.

In the meantime, here’s one more peek into our car-loving family. The burnouts are loud, the trucks are big, and Ryan’s shirt proves it—this stuff runs in the family! 🏁

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from our family to yours!

With the Thomaston Car Show coming up this Sunday, we thought it would be fun to share a little bit of our life with you all — and hopefully get everyone as excited for the big day as we are. 🚘

We’re looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, meeting some new ones, and of course hearing all about what you’ve got tucked away in your garage. Whether it’s a classic, a project you’ve poured years into, or just something you love to drive, we want to hear about it.

We’ll be sharing a little more of our own car story in the days leading up to the show, too.

Black Rock Tavern is currently accepting applications for:

FOH HOST / HOSTESS / BUSSER

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, and comfortable being the first face our guests see when they walk through the door.

This position will also help manage DoorDash and phone orders, assist with bussing and keeping the front of house running smoothly, and support the team wherever needed.

💰 Base pay + tip out

🗓️ Regular hours: Friday & Saturday
Additional Thursday & Sunday shifts during the holiday season.

Immediate opening available. Room for growth.

📍 Apply in person during business hours at Black Rock Tavern.
