Hey Fireside fam,

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, but unfortunately, we won’t be ready to reopen by March 1st as we’d hoped. Repairs are still underway, and our team is focused on getting everything just right before we welcome you back.

We appreciate your patience and support—it means the world to us. We’ll keep you posted with updates as soon as we have more to share.

On this Veterans Day, we extend our deepest gratitude to all who have served. Fireside Surf is truly honored to be a gathering place for veterans—a place where they surf together, share stories, and reconnect. Seeing these moments of camaraderie and strength fills us with immense respect for those who have sacrificed so much.

Through our connection with the Adaptive Training Foundation, we’ve had the privilege of meeting extraordinary veterans who have faced unimaginable challenges, some having lost limbs or the ability to use them, and many carrying the invisible weight of service. These internal battles are often the hardest, and we are humbled by the resilience we witness every day.

As a service-disabled veteran-owned business, we want to do more than just say thank you. We encourage everyone to take a moment to start a conversation with a veteran in your life. Ask about their story, listen to their experiences, and discover the incredible resilience behind their service. These conversations mean so much—they’re a way for us all to better understand the depth of their journeys and the impact of their sacrifices.

To our veterans, we thank you, not only for what you have given but for the inspiration you continue to bring to our lives. You are at the heart of our Fireside Surf community, and we are grateful to be part of your journey.

Surf Fam,

As the colder weather sets in, we knew that this time of year would bring essential maintenance for us, including draining our 350,000-gallon pool, making necessary repairs, and preparing everything for a stronger season ahead. Unfortunately, the work is taking longer than we hoped, and with heavy hearts, we’ve made the difficult decision to close for the season.

This Sunday will be our last day of surfing in 2024. If you have pre-purchased sessions or 10-packs, please know they have no expiration—you’re welcome to use them this weekend to get a few final waves or save them for March when we reopen.

We are incredibly grateful to each of you for supporting our service-disabled, veteran-owned small business throughout this challenging first year. We had no idea the hurdles we’d face in opening, but even more, we had no idea just how incredible this community would become. Your encouragement and energy have meant the world to us, and we’re truly sorry for this sudden news.

Thank you for riding this journey with us. We can’t wait to make next season even better and to see you all back on the wave soon.

💐Annie + Max just tied the knot!

Before the big day, they kicked off their wedding week at Fireside Surf with a “Pre-Wedding Party” Private event that brought friends and family from all over the world straight from DFW to our gathering place. It was awesome meeting everyone and having Fireside as the first stop on their adventure!

Big props to Chef Raine and Matty for the killer spread of appetizers and drinks that kept the stoke high all night. From catching waves to catching a lifetime together, we’re wishing Annie + Max all the best. Here’s to endless sets and smooth rides ahead!

Our sunrise surf sessions have brought so much excitement, but turnout has been lower than needed to keep them going on both Saturday and Sunday. To make this work, we’re now offering this unique, crowd-free experience on Sundays only, 7-10am beginning this weekend.

If you’re an early riser looking to enjoy 3 hours of warm waves at a great value, join us for $175 per session! It’s a peaceful lineup perfect for return surfers who are ready to ride and refine their skills. With brunch waiting afterward, bring a friend to refuel and keep this Fireside Surf tradition alive.

As a service-disabled, veteran-owned business, every booking counts as we grow and create unique experiences. If we can’t fill these sessions, we may have to pause until summer. Show up and help us make Dawn Patrol a lasting part of our surf fam’s week! 🌅

Join us for Fireside Surf’s first-ever Halloween Party on October 25th! Dress to thrill and arrive at 8pm for a red-carpet-style photo shoot, capturing your wickedly awesome Halloween look. Anyone who creeps in costume that day will also receive $15 off their next surf session! At 9pm, we’ll conjure up our costume contest, where the top 3 ghoulish winners will snag free surf sessions.

🌕As darkness falls, get ready for a hauntingly good time with Fireside After Dark featuring DJ , tiki torches flickering like jack-o’-lanterns, and fire pits to warm your bones. Sink your teeth into our new flatbread menu, enjoy bottle service, and watch the surfers ride the ghostly waves. Return surfers can dare to catch some open surf for $99. It’s a frightfully fun night of music, waves, and Halloween magic you won’t want to miss!
