This time of year, is a busy time of year and thats no different for our lodge here in Thayer Mo. We may be a little lodge but we do big big things for the community. Here is a bit of info on the things we have been doing over the last few months in our community. Trunk or treat was a HUGE SUCCESS! We had over 100 kids come through and passed out over 1,000 bags of candy! In November, We donated $1,000 to each of our local food pantry’s (totaling $3,000) to help assist while snap benefits were being paused for the month of November. We donated $500 to two of our local schools who needed assistance to make sure their kids weren’t hungry at home, also during the snap benefits issue. We used a grant and spent $4000 shopping for Christmas Presents for 19 local foster kids in two counties (over $200 per kid)!! We also used another $2000 grant to help provide hygiene products for the 5 local area schools ($400 per school). Last week thanks to another grant, we delivered over $3500 worth of Christmas gifts to the 2 local nursing homes to make sure our elderly neighbors had a good Christmas.

Y’all bring your monsters, cowboys, aliens, princesses, mermaids, and come see us at the lodge on Halloween! We will be doing hotdogs, water, chips and candy again this year! So come on by!
