We didn’t want this week to pass without wishing a heavenly happy birthday to Javier and Magdalena Enríquez. ❤️

Today, we remember these two amazing people who, 36 years ago, took a leap of faith and took over Susie’s, beginning a new chapter in its story. They kept the Susie’s name alive while bringing their own love, dedication, and recipes to the restaurant and to the many people who walked through its doors.

Their hard work and the love they poured into Susie’s helped shape the place we are so proud to carry on today.

You are both deeply missed, and today we remember you with so much love and gratitude. ❤️

Happy heavenly birthday, Javier and Magdalena.
Your legacy lives on at Susie’s. 🌹
