Meet sweet Daphne who gained her wings just yesterday…

Daphne was a beloved 13-year-old Mini Bernedoodle whose greatest joy was serving as a faithful classmate to generations of third-grade students. For many years, she brought comfort, smiles, and unconditional love to every child fortunate enough to share a classroom with her.

In her younger days, no stuffed toy stood a chance. A favorite pastime was reducing plush toys to a pile of fluff within moments. Yet despite her mischievous talent for toy destruction, Daphne’s gentle spirit shined through in every interaction.

She never met a stranger, only friends she hadn’t greeted yet. Her kind heart, warm presence, and unwavering affection touched countless lives. Whether offering comfort to a student, seeking a scratch behind the ears, or simply brightening a room with her presence, Daphne had a remarkable gift for making people feel loved.

Though her paws have left the classroom and her favorite toys are finally safe, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Daphne was more than a dog—she was a friend, a teacher’s helper, a source of comfort, and a cherished member of the community.

Her legacy lives on in every smile she inspired and every life she touched. Run free, sweet Daphne. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered. ❤️🐾
