These folks all gathered together for great fun and serious food. The name of this magical place was Mr. Joe was a very unique gentleman. he always greeted everyone at the door with a joke, and you never knew when he might just jump up on a table and dance. When it came to the restaurant that bore his name though, Joe stood firm in his philosophy:

the Customer Happy

Some say Mr. Joe's was the original sports bar. A gigantic tube TV played constantly, switching between the four snowy channels searching for any sport that might be playing. Even if that meant curling on the Canadian station. With a nod to our loyal Tampa customers we pay tribute to the man who really did believe the customer was king! We now proudly present Tampa Joe's Restaurant and Sports Bar!

Welp we just got another phone call letting us know that tomorrow night(Tuesday) is Bay Area Riders last bikenight at Tampa Joe's!

Come and join us and lets fill the parking lot one last time for a final grand finale at Tampa Joes!

The good news is we've had a few different establishments reach out and we are in the works of finalizing a deal on our next bikenight location so stay tuned for news coming soon!

You know we won't let you down! See you all tomorrow night! 🙂

For the past 10 years, Tampa Joe’s has proudly been part of the Tampa community. What began as a restaurant grew into something far more meaningful — a place filled with lasting memories, strong relationships, and true friendships. We are deeply grateful to each and every one of you who has walked through our doors.

Today, we find ourselves at a crossroads. While our hearts want nothing more than to continue serving our friends with the great food, welcoming service, and fun-loving spirit that have defined Tampa Joe’s from the very beginning, we have made the heartfelt decision to transition to a new chapter and are actively pursuing other locations. The property on Anderson Road has been sold.

Our final day at this location will be March 2, 2026. Between now and then, we invite you to stop in, raise a pint, share a story, and celebrate the memories we’ve created together — while looking ahead to what’s next.

Thank you for your loyalty, your support, and your friendship. This is not goodbye — it’s simply the start of a new chapter for Tampa Joe’s.
