We would like to formally announce that Kelly Days Firehouse Tavern will be closing. Owner/Operator Simon Canasi has recently retired from the corporate world and soon after, an offer was made to purchase Kelly Days. Although we will miss all of our loyal patrons and staff, we were able to do a lot of good for those who serve at Tampa Fire Rescue and visitors from departments near and far. The Canasi family planted its roots in Ybor City in 1961 when they first immigrated from Cuba, and have always done their best to help grow the Ybor community. We would to thank our excellent staff who have worked so hard over the years, our dear friend Maggie Custer for being such a diligent and kind leader for our team, and to all our guests who have supported us. We sincerely apologize for the short notice, but please understand that this was a VERY sudden occurrence. We are still selling Kelly Days glassware and T-shirts, and we still have the to look forward to.
