Blue Tavern is within easy walking distance from Frenchtown, Levy Park, and Lafayette Park neighborhoods. Serving beer, wine, coffee, tea, and sodas -- a perfect quiet spot to enjoy conversation, reading, art, without TV or canned music. Our casual dining choices include New Orleans style red-beans-and-rice with andouille sausage; file gumbo; grilled sandwiches and pressed Cuban sandwiches; and vegan options – all at affordable prices. Parking available onsite, street-side or in public parking lots (Wells Fargo & FedEx). Hours:
Tue-Thu: 5-midnight Fri-Sat: 4-midnight

🦋For the month of September we’ll be serving up a special tribute to the one and only Dolly Parton, with 50% of the proceeds going to the Gender Affirming Closet at Common Ground Books. Dolly spent her life giving us so more than beautiful music, and we felt that it would be fitting to continue on with her love of reading and support for the LGBTQ+ community. Come see us for a Dolly special, and if you haven’t stopped by Common Ground Books, give them a visit!

🍹The Dolly Special is a hand made pink sangria, made from scratch with white w**e, fresh strawberries, peaches, oranges, grapefruit and apples. We hope you love it 💗
