Time is running out to order your Gunner Jurgansen Memorial Apparel if you'd like to wear it to the Taconite City Picnic on Saturday, August 1st!
📅The Taconite Fire Department and Taconite American Legion- Post 301 have invited everyone to wear their Gunner shirts and gather in front of the Legion at 6:00 PM for a community photo. We hope to see a sea of shirts as we come together to honor Gunner's memory.
🎉We also have TWO incredible updates to share!🎉
🏡The City has officially approved a memorial gazebo in honor of Gunner, and it will be constructed in the park.
This memorial will become a lasting place where family, friends, and our community can gather, reflect, and remember Gunner for years to come.
💚Because of YOU, we're also excited to share that the donation from shirt sales has already reached an incredible $3,208!
To every single person who has ordered, shared a post, or encouraged others to support this memorial—thank you. Your generosity has exceeded all expectations, and we're absolutely blown away by what this little community has accomplished together. As a reminder, 60% of every apparel sale is donated directly toward Gunner's memorial, and there's still time to make an even bigger impact.

As a small business, we have the privilege of creating apparel for many incredible causes, but this one has touched our hearts in a truly special way. Seeing this community come together to honor Gunner has been nothing short of amazing. Every order, every share, every kind word—it all speaks to one thing: how deeply loved Gunner was.

Gunner — our Golden Human Sunshine — gave all the good he could, to all the people he could, in all the ways he could, for as long as he could.
His goodness, his friendship, his loyalty is now his legacy.
His legacy is not leaving something for us, but leaving something in us that we must cherish and bring into every tomorrow.
It is a privilege to carry his memory and friendship with us. It is a privilege to have been changed by someone worth missing forever.

We are incredibly honored to have the opportunity to produce the Gunner Jurgansen Memorial Apparel. This is more than just apparel—it’s a way for our community to come together, remember, honor, and support something that will carry Gunner’s memory forward.
60% of all sales will be donated to contribute to a memorial that will be commemorated in honor of our pal, Gunner. Every shirt, hoodie, and sweatshirt becomes a small part of something much bigger—a lasting tribute built through the kindness and generosity of this community.
We want to extend a very special thank you to Maria for creating the beautiful design. We are also deeply grateful for the thoughtful and heartfelt words she wrote for the website description, capturing the spirit of this memorial in a way that only someone who truly cares could.
