While there have been a few modern cosmetic changes, it still retains its authentic historical charm. "Always surround yourself with people you can learn from."

- Leopold Schmidt, Founder of the Olympus Hotel

The Tacoma FORUM is located in the historic Olympus Hotel in Downtown Tacoma, which was founded by Olympia Brewing Company owner, Leopold Schmidt in 1909. The original back bar, which was built in France by Francisican Monks, remains the shining star of The Forum. Rumor has it that Leopold himself, who was always proud of the once "grandest hotel in Tacoma," continues to watch over the patrons of our establishment. Our philosophy at The FORUM is to surround ourselves with the best staff, support our local liquor companies and serve the finest food while creating a meeting place that everyone can enjoy...even Leopold! The owners of the FORUM and their hardworking staff would like to invite you to come and hang out at the best place to meet, eat and drink in Tacoma.
