Peaks and Pints is a brew-fueled lodge in the heart of Basecamp Proctor in Northend Tacoma. It’s a craft beer and cider taproom where 21 and older brew nerds can wave their geek flags and keep waving them all the way home with filled growlers, a bottle shop with a broad and deep selection of craft beer in bottles and cans, and a eatery with tasty sandwiches, salads and appetizers.

Peaks & Pints Sunday Sandwich Special

“The Scenic Route” — turkey, salami, pepperoni, spicy mayo, olive tapenade, provolone, tomato, arugula on sourdough — a leisurely tour through savory, salty, spicy, and bright with plenty of worthwhile stops along the way.

Chicken poblano soup rolls alongside with roasted pepper warmth and a smooth, comforting finish.

Breakside Pilsner keeps the journey crisp and refreshing, its snappy bite lifting the olives, cooling the spice, and making every turn taste like the right one.

Most breweries find a lane.

Dogfish Head built a brewery by wandering out of the lane entirely.

Sunday’s Peaks and Pints Dogfish Head Flight traces three decades of beautifully off-centered brewing through SeaQuench Ale, Grateful Dead Juicy Pale Ale, 60 Minute IPA, 90 Minute IPA, and the gloriously unreasonable 120 Minute IPA.

There’s a session sour brewed from a mashup of three German styles. A pale ale infused with festival energy and good karma. An IPA born from a vibrating tabletop football game. And a Triple IPA that treats moderation like an optional suggestion from another dimension.

Some breweries brew beer.

Dogfish Head brews curiosity.

Five pours. One of craft beer’s great rule-breakers. Plenty of strange and wonderful detours along the way.

Peaks & Pints New Beer Six-Pack 5.29.26

Friday’s new beer six-pack looks less like a beer lineup and more like a casting call for a wonderfully strange summer adventure.

A beach monster.
A funeral procession.
A force-of-nature grandmother.
A dream city.
A New Zealand hop rocket.
And a video-game haze sprinting toward the finish line.

Abomination Beach Monster
Block 15 45 Below
Grains of Wrath Destination Funeral
Holy Mountain + Living Haus Large Marge
Holy Mountain The Dreaming City
Logan Green Hill Zone

Six fresh arrivals now waiting in the Peaks and Pints cooler, proving once again that hops remain one of humanity’s finest storytelling devices.

Peaks & Pints Friday Sandwich Special

“The Brothfather” — birria beef, Oaxaca cheese, cilantro, white onion on a baguette with consommé standing by for the full dunk ceremony.

Alder wood smoked salmon chowder brings a second layer of comfort, silky and smoky with unmistakable Pacific Northwest charm.

Block 15 Sol Fresco keeps everything bright and balanced — crisp, refreshing, and built to cut through rich broth, melted cheese, and chowder alike.

Dip. Sip. Repeat.’

What if a bicycle mechanic built a brewery from salvaged dairy equipment?

What if Pale Ale changed American beer forever?

What if the same brewery later wandered into pilsners, gose, imperial stout, triple IPA, and barleywines large enough to leave footprints in beer history?

Friday’s Peaks and Pints Sierra Nevada Flight follows that trail of curiosity through Summerfest, Otra Vez, Narwhal, Hoptimum, and Bigfoot — five beers, five chapters, one of craft beer’s most influential stories.

There are monsters in this flight. There are myths. There is an 11% Triple IPA that arrives carrying an entire forest.

And somewhere near the end, Bigfoot is still waiting.

Peaks & Pints Thursday Sandwich Special

“Olive the Above” — turkey, obatz, sauerkraut, olives, arugula on rye — tangy, creamy, salty, like a beer hall picnic that somehow found perfect balance.

Roasted red pepper & gouda bisque rolls in smooth and velvety with sweet pepper warmth underneath.

Ayinger Altbairisch Dunkel ties it all together with soft toasted malt, deep bread-crust comfort, and just enough crisp finish to keep every bite bright and inviting.

Peaks & Pints Thursday Lumberbeard Flight

Spokane showed up carrying cryo hops, tropical fog, pine resin, arcade neon, and exactly zero interest in subtle behavior.

Thursday’s Peaks and Pints Lumberbeard Brewing Flight runs through juicy haze storms, sharp West Coast bite, rotating hop-lab weirdness, and our own house beer, Cut-Off Flannel IPA — the sleeveless Pacific Northwest campfire philosophy disguised as a delicious beer.

Five 5oz pours.
Heavy lupulin atmosphere.

Sometimes the correct sunny May day plan is simply: drink the hop portal.

Peaks & Pints Wednesday Sandwich Special

Today’s sandwich-and-soup situation at Peaks and Pints feels like somebody opened a tiny tavern inside a warm loaf of sourdough.

The Beer Hall Monitor stacks pastrami, beer mustard, havarti, mild cheddar, red onion, and tomato into one gloriously overqualified deli masterpiece while Chicken Poblano Soup brings smoky green chile comfort humming underneath like rainy-day jazz.

Pair it with Kulshan Brewing’s crisp German-style pilsner and suddenly the entire day — lunch, dinner, happy little in-between snack crisis — snaps into perfect alignment.
