US-23/Monroe Interchange Project Update
On Friday (February 27th) we hosted an informational event about the US-23/Monroe Interchange Project Update. Joseph Shaw, City of Sylvania's Director of Public Safety & Service answered questions and presented on the Monroe Street Bridge project that is starting this upcoming weekend.

Some CONSTRUCTION UPDATES for everyone:

US-23/Monroe Interchange Project Update
On Friday (February 27th) we hosted an informational event about the US-23/Monroe Interchange Project Update. Joseph Shaw, City of Sylvania's Director of Public Safety & Service answered questions and presented on the Monroe Street Bridge project that is starting this upcoming weekend.

Reminder, some time on the 8th of March, you will not be able to cross 23 and it will be closed off for over 180 days. The bridge is being replaced.

Construction UPDATES:

1) Reminder that the Monroe Street bridge over 23 will be closed on March 8th (Sunday) for construction to begin on Monday.

2) Reminder that the north side of Main Street (from Maplewood to Erie) will be one lane (going North) this summer.

3) Finally, this will affect us on TUESDAY, February 17th:

Weather permitting, on Tuesday, February 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the Sylvania Police Department will be on-site to direct traffic at the intersection of Monroe St. and Summit St. for the activation of a new signal. Officers will also briefly assist with traffic flow at Monroe St. and Main St. at some point during this window. Please allow extra time for your commute and use caution when traveling through these intersections.

1) It's Rosie's Birthday. We won't say how old she is.

Sodbuster Bar will be hosting a private event this evening from 7 PM to 11 PM.

We’ll open to the public at 4 PM, and kindly ask all guests to wrap up and head out by 6:30 PM so we can prepare for the event.

We appreciate your understanding, and we’ll be reopening to everyone at 11 PM.
