The calendar tells us it’s September. That must mean Oktoberfest is coming soon, right? You bet.

As one of our biggest events of the year, we decided that it deserved to stretch into TWO weekends!

On October 10th and 17th, look forward to a whole bunch of fresh German-style b**rs, games, food from Taste of Tampa LLC and Dogsonwheels Sylva, and a whole bunch of good hangs.

We’ll have live music both weekends. The 10th will have Ghost Pipe Sound Machine performing, and the 17th will feature PMA-Positive Mental Attitude.

We will also have limited edition b**r steins, and we encourage everyone to show up in their best costumes.

Join us this weekend for Music on the Porch!

Music on the Porch is an annual fall benefit at the Appalachian Women's Museum. It is a celebration of Appalachian musical traditions and the beautiful mountains. The event is free to the public yet donations are encouraged.

This year’s musical performers are Susan Pepper, Cherokee Language Repertory Choir, Lee Knight, Savannah Page and Julie Odell. The day also includes kids and nature activities, demonstrations, a vintage booth, and a BBQ competition!

We’re seeing double!

2 fresh b**rs hit the draft board with Synthwave DIPA and Pub Amber.

Synthwave is a super juicy Double IPA with Nelson Sauvin and Chinook hops with tropical fruit, resin, and white grape notes.

Pub Amber is a remix on Phat Chance, where we use l***r yeast for fermentation instead of ale yeast. This creates a much more balanced and quaffable drinking experience.
