90% of our guests today RAVED about Pelicans proprietary Texas Potato salad!!! The others didn’t care for the jalapeño, and liked the traditional recipe from DETROIT better.

The chicken took me all day, but I’m told it is well worth it!!! West Texas mesquite slow cooked.

Paired with Surfside Beaches locally harvested honey, drizzled over neat Jack Daniels, and a mandatory Lone Star, this meal cannot be beaten!

Going to have a nice asparagus or brussel sprouts with a Truffle oil, virgin olive oil and balsamic medley in the future.

Mmmmm. Still some left.

We only have 10 hats left! I’ve sold six of them the rest of them sold themselves. On order!

We’re the only ones around that import Sweet Mesquite from West Texas. Yes it’s a little bit more expensive but that’s what it is when you’re doing what no one else is doing, and doing it WELL!

Wait till you try our proprietary Texas potato salad. Amazing

FRESH GULF SEAFOOD TOMORROW!! Buying it right off the boat from this morning!

One problem!

I’m working with the culinary chef to come show us how to cook it in the best way possible. He may not be able to come tomorrow.

I’m not kidding here. Who knows how to cook flounder, red snapper and shrimp and would like to VOLUNTEER tomorow??

I promise a fun time as we PERFECT this! And all the shrimp you can eat!!

What a Bayou-God send!!!! 80 # of the BEST CRAWFISH in Brazoria County being delivered by our newest partner. PELICANS!!!

ps, the owner is bringing her staff and claims not only the best crawfish, but the best looking staff in a 20 mile radius of The Brazos River!!!

Coming next Friday!! ALL WEEKEND LONG!! The best crawfish in brazoria county, I’m told!!

The Surfside Bird & Butterfly Trail is 2.5 miles surrounded by native plants and woodland and bordered by the Freeport Harbor.
