• To be eligible to play in the 2027 BCAPL World Championships, competitors must play 8 WEEKS of leagues before December 31, 2025.

Great turnout for tonight's KOTT 8-Ball tournament! 24 players, $268 in entries and $152 added, for $420 in payouts for the 2-hour tournament.

As always, the players are ranked from high to low based on FargoRate. The top 50% go into the Upper division, and the bottom 50% go into the Lower. When we get 27+ players, we split the field into three divisions: Upper, Middle, and Lower! The players all shoot against each other randomly, but the cash is split equally between the divisions.

Tonight looked like another Richie Rich show, bu Mark Sternal said, "Step aside, son," as he passed Richard Carbon for the lead and never relinquished it. When time ended, Mark had an impressive score of 14 wins in 15 games, taking the $105 prize for 1st in the Upper. Richie was done, sitting on the sidelines, and temporarily in 2nd place with 10 wins in 16 games, but Richard Diver was playing in his final game with a chance to overtake Richie. Richard lost that final game, letting Richie off the hook. Richie held onto 2nd and pocketed $70. Richard slipped to 9 wins out of 14, dead nutz tying with P.j. Perez, so they chopped the 3rd place cash of $35.

In the Lower division, Amy Johnson from Wisconsin held the top spot pretty much all night long, and when time ended, she still had it with 8 wins out of 12 games, pocketing the $105 prize. In 2nd place, Shane Hatfield pocketed some KOTT cash, ending with 6 wins in 11 games, earning $70. In 3rd place, there was another tie... Dalton Luoma and Drew Sotona each had 6 wins in 12 games, chopping the $35 cash.

The BNR grew to $136 per ball, and the lucky contestant was Drew Sotona. Drew smashed the break, parking the cue ball in the middle of the table, pocketing TWO balls, and landing with a shot on the 1-Ball! His options were a slice into the side, or a bank into the opposite side. Drew opted for the bank, but came up short. Doh!!!

Don't miss Tusday night's KOTT 9-Ball tournament. The BNR will start at $136 per ball, and could reach $150 per ball by go-time!

Pretty good turnouts for Monday's KOTT 8-Ball and Tuesday's KOTT 9-Ball.

We had 14 players for 8-Ball, $152 in entries and $98 added, for a total of $250 in payouts.

Robert Montgomery started off holding the top spot, but Richard Carbon and Mark Sternal were never more than a step or two behind. As time drew thin, Richie tip-toed past Monty to take the top spot with his score of 16 wins in 20 games, pocketing the $75 prize. Monty and Mark duked it out for 2nd right to the buzzer, and Monty slipped away with the $50 cash prize with 13 wins in 18 games.

In the Lower division, Andy Gamache and Dalton Luoma chased each other up the leader board. They were tied a number of times thru the night, and they ended up tied with 9 wins each, but Andy's 9 outta 14 gave him 1st place and $75. Dalton had to settle for second and $50 with 9 outta 16.

The BNR grew to $112 per ball, and the lucky contestant was Jim Nevin. Despite giving it his all, Jim broke dry on both his 100% First Attempt and 20% Second Attempt.

For tonight's 9-Ball, we had 15 players, $166 in entries and $104 added, for a total of $270 in payouts.

Jesse Morrissette and Jim Nevin held the top spot for the first hour, then P.j. Perez, Richie, and Mark started chasing them. With about 15 minutes to go, Mark was in the lead, with Richie right on his heels. But, Richie ran outta chips and got eliminated, opening the door for PJ to pass him.

Not only did PJ pass the now-eliminated Richie, he tied Mark for the top spot. When time ended, PJ and Mark each had 18 wins, but Mark's win% was best. 18 wins outta 22 gave Mark 1st place and $80. PJ's 18 outta 25 was good for 2nd and $55.

In the Lower division, Jim Nevin fell off the pace, but it wasn't smooth sailing for Jesse. Dalton went on an 11-game win streak, creeping up on Jesse, and eventually passing him. When time expired, Dalton's score of 15 wins in 23 games was 3rd best overall, and locked in 1st place in the Lower for him, netting him $80. Jesse had to settle for $55 for his second place score of 13 wins in 23 games.

The BNR pot grew to $127 per ball, and the lucky contestant was Richie. He didn't pocket any cash in the tournament. Could he pocket money in the BNR?

Long story short... nope. Both his 100% First Attempt and 20% Second Attempt breaks were big, bold, and loud, sending the object balls everywhere... except into a pocket.

Congratulations to Vanessa Gibbs and Robert Montgomery for winning their respective divisions in last Saturday's Hdcp'd 8-Ball tournament!

Despite the beautiful weather, we got a decent turnout of players... 17 in the Lower division and 10 in the Upper division.

Both divisions utilized the FargoRate Hot Charrts to determine the match races. In the Lower division, it was R4 in the winner's side and R3 in the loser's side. For the Upper division, it was R5 on both sides.

Vanessa was hittin' 'em good all day long! On her march to the Driver's Seat, she only let her opponents win one game each. Vanessa bought into both side pots, and was now guaranteed cash all around, with just one more opponent standing between her and 1st place.

J.e. Cude took a first round thumpin' from Theresa Messina Sternal, but once he was in the B Side, he emerged as the dominant player, chopping thru opponents and barely letting them win a single game.

Jay made quick work of Steve Same, knocking him out 3-0, sending Steve packing with $60 for 4th place. Janie Creger lost the Driver's Seat match to Vanessa, and wasn't feelin' it for the looooong wait before playing again. She opted to take her 3rd place cash of $120 and left early. So, after Jay beat Steve, Jay scooted straight into the final match again Vanessa.

In the first set, Jay was still a force to be reckoned with as he smacked Vanessa 4-1. Vanessa re-grouped and stepped up for the final battle, beating Jay 3-3 to capture 1st place.

Jay pocketed $180 for 2nd place, $40 in Side Pot #1, and $50 in Side Pot #2. And Vanessa grabbed it all! She took $265 for 1st place, $80 in Side Pot #1, and $100 in Side Pot #2. WTG, Vanessa!!!

In the Upper division, it was Monty's day! Bob racked up win after win, marching his way to the Driver's Seat, beating strong players like Mark Sternal and Shane Wilcox along the way!

In the B Side, Mark and Shane both fell victim to Roger Harju. Mark finished in 4th place, and won his choice of any rock in the parking lot. Roger Dodger exacted revenge on Shane-o, knocking him out in 3rd place, giving him $90 in the tournament and $50 in Side Pot #2.

In the finals, Roger hoped to keep that winning streak going, but Monty said, "Not today, bub." Bob made pretty quick work of Roger, beating him 5-2 to capture 1st place.

Monty pocketed $200 for 1st place. Roger earned $135 for 2nd and $70 in Side Pot #1.

Congrats to J.e. Cude for grabbing $571 in BNR today!

Mark took $591 outta the pot on Thirsday, dropping it to $146 per ball. The pot grew to $157 at go-time, and Jay said, "That's my favorite number."

He made two balls on the break and landed with an easy-peasy-lemon-squeezey shot on the 1-ball! The cue ball ran a bit too far, so he cashed out.

For Monday's KOTT 8-Ball, the BNR will start at $112 per ball.

Great turnout for such a beautiful day outside! We have 17 players in the Lower division and $10 in the Upper division. With the entry fees, added money, and side pots, there is $1540 up for grabs, plus $1830 in the BNR!
