Sometimes the anxiety and pressure of being a bartender affect me. I don't feel pressure when I'm serving and doing my job because I know I'm doing it right. It's the pressure to get booked for events. But I put my faith in God, and believe me, He helps me a lot. Yesterday I had three event bookings, and I encourage all customers to come and try the drinks before booking so they can see which ones suit them for their events. On my last reservation, the bride and her group of friends came to try cocktails and told me that she had other quotes from other bartenders and that they charged so much more for their services. I don't want to criticize anyone, but I want them to know that my prices are affordable because I love what I do. I love helping people on their special days. A friend of the bride told me, "I have seen your business prosper a lot, and you were one of the first bartenders in the valley to succeed, and now I see many more following in your footsteps." That made me feel great! Competition doesn't affect me at all; in fact, I appreciate it. So thank you to the girls and my other clients who came to hire me. If you think I may not be the fit you want for your event, come try my cocktails, and it'll most likely change your mind. If you took the time to read this, I appreciate it.
