We’re pretty darn excited to let y’all know that the latest (and second!) version of STUPID SEXY FLANDERS, our Flanders Red Ale, is now on tap here in Downtown Sun Prairie and available in cans to take with you. Inspired by the classic sour red ales of Belgium — Rodenbach and Duchesse de Bourgogne from Brouwerij Verhaeghe - Vichte, to name a couple — this beer is fermented with a mix of Brettanomyces and lactic acid-producing bacteria, then aged for sixteen months in a combination of white wine and Driftless Glen Distillery bourbon barrels. The result is tart, complex and a little bit wine-like, with layers of plum and raspberry alongside spice, clove, citrus and subtle oak. A dry, zesty finish keeps things crisp, lively and remarkably refreshing. Give it a try next time you stop by!

This rain ain’t gonna stop us! Stop down at The Biergarten at Olbrich Park tonight for the FMBC&K tap takeover! Starting at 3PM when they open. We’ve got 7 (!) beers pouring tonight: Halfpenny Pub Ale, Evening In Prague Czech-style Dark Lager, Bill’s Pils German-style Pilsner, Monona Surf Report West Coast-style IPA, Ghost Teeth Hazy IPA, The Cyclist Grapefruit Radler and Suncrushed Bavarian-style Hefeweizen.
