I recorded this song and made this video for the American Legion Post 62 10 year Remembrance Day. It's hard to believe it was 25 years ago when Tommy ran into the bedroom and shouted Come here, look at the TV! I cried all day. Once a New Yorker, always a New Yorker. A couple of years later Tommy and I took a trip back to my hometown on Long Island. We hopped on the train and went to New York City. We visited Ground Zero. It was a very emotional experience for both of us, but more so for me. Unless you had stood on the sidewalk at the entrance to the Twin Towers, you could never imagine how big and how tall they were. I had seen the Empire State Building, but that was tiny compared to these 2 mammoth structures. Seeing the HUGE empty space where they used to be, shook me to the core. Most of you don't know that I am an Empath and I can sense spirits. That day I had an experience that I hope I never have again! To those who perished that day in NYC, the Pentagon and that field in Pennsylvania, we will NEVER FORGET YOU!
