We’re excited to be part of this year’s city-wide Murkey Myers collab—and proud to introduce Murkey Stardust.
We built it on a grist of barley, oats, and wheat for a soft, pillowy body. It’s hopped hot-side with Strata and Simcoe, fermented with our house hazy IPA yeast, and dry-hopped cold-side with a big dose of Anchovy (silly name, serious hop), plus more Strata and Simcoe.
We first discovered Anchovy last year at Segel Hop Ranch, catching a fresh pick off the kiln room floor (peep last pic). The aroma was wild—watermelon, Jolly Rancher, and berry sweetness—and we’ve been experimenting with it ever since. This is our biggest use of it yet, and it’s a standout in Murkey Stardust.
Together with Strata and Simcoe, you’ll get bold notes of watermelon, tangerine, apricot, and hopped candy sweetness. It’s a vibrant, bold beer that’s perfect for this year’s Murkey celebration.
