The Atlanta Gladiators are hosting their annual MILITARY NIGHT, and they’re inviting our American Legion Post 127 family to join them for an afternoon of hockey, appreciation, and celebration! ❤️🤍💙

This special event is all about honoring the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country. Veterans, active-duty military, military families, and supporters are all invited!

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes Far From Home 🇺🇸

Today, on National Day of the Deployed, we recognize the brave men and women serving our country far from home.

While we go about our everyday lives, they are making sacrifices, missing holidays, birthdays, and precious moments with loved ones to protect the freedoms we hold dear.

From all of us at American Legion Post 127, thank you to every deployed service member for your courage, dedication, and sacrifice. We also extend our gratitude to the families holding down the home front.

The Twisted Tomato McCaysville Bigfoot Boogie 5K returns on Saturday, November 14 at 4:30 PM, and we'd love to see our regional American Legion members join the fun!

As we continue celebrating America's 250th birthday, what better way to show off our local patriotic spirit than welcoming hundreds of runners, walkers, and their supporters to our beautiful mountain communities!

Part of the Riverwalk Run Series, America's only two-state 5K series, this one-of-a-kind event takes participants through McCaysville, GA and Copperhill, TN, crossing the historic steel bridge along the Toccoa River.

Let's turn the course RED, WHITE & BLUE! 🇺🇸

Round up your fellow Legionnaires, friends, and family, put on something patriotic, and come run or walk with us! American flags, patriotic shirts, and plenty of hometown pride are encouraged!

Not interested in running? Come cheer from the sidelines, wave Old Glory, and help us show visiting participants the patriotic spirit that makes our little corner of America so special.

Best of all, the event supports the nonprofit McCaysville Business Association, helping strengthen the communities we proudly call home.
