It’s with broken hearts that we share the sad news that Matilda passed away Friday. I was making plans to bring her home with me permanently, and I believe in her well known stubborn way, she decided that wasn’t going to happen. Roots was her home, long before it was ours. She was 16 years old, and the vet said she was just worn out. I quote one of Matilda’s favorite humans, Jason Rogers, “She’s lying on the laptop bag of Cat Jesus and when he tries to pet her, she scratches the crap out of him” That’s how I’m going to choose to remember her. In all of her fiery Queen Bee way😢😢😢😢😢
