Well, it happened AGAIN. Another Successful Rick Sparks Memorial Crappie Tournament!!
There wasn't a large number of boats, but the competition was tough as was the fishing and the final tally was the TOPS in fish as well as the generous Donations from local businesses as well as Residents and participants!
Just to name a few, We'd like to give Huge Thanks to, The Bank of Versailles in Versailles, Rebel Docks of Ivy Bend, The Dave Fowler Family, Bruce Latchford of Latchford Lights, Outdoor Addiction, Wright Printing of Versailles, Frontier Metal, Edgar Rods and Reels, Chances R of Laurie, Concordia Bank, West side Roll-Offs, Menning Tire, NuStyle Quilt Shop, Dandelion Hill Market and Venue, and quite a number of others ,who without everyone's help and donations this would not be possible!
The proceeds go to the Local Youth Fishing Tournament. It's nothing short of intense JOY to see the youth of the area, participate in the Spring event that is a great learning experience as, well as an aid in keeping our younger generation in touch with Nature, their surroundings and neighbors!
A special Thanks to Kim Brockman and Kevin Marshal. They put on many miles and Hours of travel to supply these Tournaments with the Generous Donations we both give away and auction.
In closing, Thank you to ALL that showed up to be a part of this great event, both residents and businesses.

Another Outstanding Big Bass Bash, Not only Here at Ivy Bend Resort, but Lake wide. An Extremely Professional Group doing an Over the Top Job running a tournament with up to and over 3000 fishermen!! Thank you, Randy Conlon for your expertise and overwhelming friendship. See you in the Spring!!

Had to be one of the most enjoyable Birthday Parties I was ever invited to. Thank you Kim and Jeanette, for including me in your Celebration. Again, Happy Birthday Jeanette. It's so enjoyable to be with a group of the finest people in the area. The Buggy ride participants were perfect in number and the dust, although still there, was as minimal as it gets. It was an extremely enjoyable Afternoon!!!
A special thank you to Jody Blankenship and Nicole along with our good cook Matt who held down the fort here amidst as many as 50 Pub Crawlers during my absence! I am blessed to have so many good friends. What a great family!!!

Well 3 sloppy games in a row and the Chiefs remain on top!!! Thank you all for the delicious side dishes and thank you Kim Brockman for once again, bringing the group some of the finest Fried Fish anyone could ever experience! Our fish fries always bring the best cooks, and Finest Friends anyone could ask for. And that Killer Carrott Cake is always the talk of the entire room. Thank you Mike and Barb.

GO CHIES!!! And Green Bay pulled one out also!!!

For all to know.... I was just informed Mike Kennedy (MOONIES BAR AND GRILL) was found deceased at his residence, R.I.P. Mike. You were Loved and appreciated by many!!!
