Our new season of Uni-League 9 ball starts tomorrow! This is a biweekly two person team league. Richard and Myndi took first place last season and pocketed $500, Tim & Molly 2nd, Greg & Brandon came in 3rd and Chris & Thomas rounded out the top 4.
We've got 8 teams signed up for the summer session, we have room for a couple more, we start at 5:00 if you want to play, I'll do 1st weeks schedule on the fly because I know how pool players procrastinate.
This is a call the 9 league, 9OB is a spot not a win, you can early 9 if you call it. Push and jump cues allowed. Floating handicap system, you win you go up, you lose you go down, each week. Don't play if you're not going to commit, you only screw over the other players when you don't show up. It's a 90 minuteish league twice a month, this shouldn't be difficult. Play aheads permitted if you know you're going to miss a day. Alright, grab a partner and get your a$$ in here, 5:00 tomorrow (Sunday), let's have a good time!

Chip tournament tonight for last session's BCA players and subs. 8 ball, BCA rules, 5 chips, $10 entry, 7:00 start.
Saturday, open tables, nothing scheduled. I've got a couple things to do between 3 and 5 but up for anything after that.
Sunday we kick off a new season of our 9 ball Uni-League! I believe we've got 8 teams signed up, we can take a couple more only. We start at 5, find a partner and get in on the action. It's a biweekly league, $10 per person, call the 9, floating handicap system, cash back league pays top 3 or four depending on number of teams. It's a good time. Alright, let's have a good time, it's what we're here for!

Reminder, for only our BCA players, we are having an 8 ball chip tournament tomorrow (Friday) at 7:00 and payout envelopes will be available for pick up.
We changed payout a little bit to incentivize winning. 1st place team receives a $150 bonus, 2nd place $100, and third place gets $50 bonus.
We hope to start a new season of BCA league in a couple weeks. I know APA has LTC's and what not, I'll do my best for scheduling. Let's get working on those Fargo's, get a 3-person team signed up today. Summer session will be a short one, probably 10-12 weeks.

Our summer session of Uni-League kicks off this coming Sunday with BCA rules 8 ball, the following Sunday starts 9 ball. $10 per person, two person teams, play every other week, 10 league nights. If your team is not signed up get signed up now so I can do scheduling please and thank you.

Today is the final night for our spring session 9 ball Uni-League, these are the current standings with all make up matches in. Whole lot can happen today, gonna be a great time! Good luck everyone!
If playoffs are needed for any spot, we can do them tonight or schedule it, but payouts won't occur until playoffs are done, so the sooner the better. And don't forget to sign up for summer session, it's only twice a month ffs, let's keep it going.

Updated stats for our Uni-League after week 9. One week to go!
We're waiting on a half a match make up between teams 5 & 6 that could slightly change rankings, but wouldn't be drastic.
In our final week (the 17th) I'll do updated scores on the fly so we can plan playoffs if necessary. Also, you guys need to let me know who's returning for summer session, we do already have a new team or two signed up but returning teams get priority.
Get some practice in and let's have a super fantastic final week! The scores are tight, anything can happen!

"Question everything." That's society's mindset, but it taken out of context. Don't question everything, question the source. The conspiracy theorist in this video has no education and no experience in any science field. But she has a belief that the Government hides everything, so the information she found on the internet. She filtered the truth and took in only what matched her beliefs. Coincidentally, the information she absorbed also came from the uneducated and unexperienced...shocking.
The same is true in the sciences as it is in your pool game, you learn from people who have been there, who HAVE done that, who have been in the trenches. Everyone else talking, is just noise because they don't want you smarter than them. That's how the dumb brain works. Always question the source.
In the sciences I listen to scientists because they're the ones doing the fn work, they're the ones making a difference. My pool game is where it is because I filtered out the amateur BS and just listened to those making a living at it. You CAN be smarter, you CAN play better, you just have to know what to filter out. Not everyone that speaks matters. Question the source.
