🔦Today we are shining a spotlight on the newest member of the Water Street Inn culinary team, Executive Chef Daniel Carter!👨‍🍳

We’re excited to welcome Chef Daniel, where he will spearhead the culinary experience across the Water Street Inn, as well as the two on-site restaurants, Charlie's Restaurant & Irish Pub and Papa's Rooftop. We can’t wait for you to experience what he’s cooking up.

🔦Today we are shining a spotlight on the newest member of the Water Street Inn culinary team, Executive Chef Daniel Carter!👨‍🍳

Daniel attended Saint Paul College for Culinary Arts and brings a true passion for cooking and creating memorable food to the kitchen at Water Street Inn. With 23 years of cooking experience, Daniel has worked in everything from casual restaurants to fine dining. For the last six years, he has traveled the country as a support chef, with highlights including Formula 1 in Miami, the National Defense Forum at the Ronald Reagan Library, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Winter College Olympics.

Daniel was inspired to become a chef by both Emeril Lagasse and his mom. His mom had a garden and would cook big Sunday meals, helping inspire his love of food and cooking.

For Daniel, cooking is a way to express himself and bring life to others. His philosophy is simple: “Technique mixed with flavor equals delicious!”

Daniel married his college sweetheart, who is also a pastry chef, and together they are raising three young, food-loving children. Needless to say, food is a big part of their family! Outside of cooking, Daniel enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and doing things with his beautiful family.

We’re excited to welcome Chef Daniel to Water Street Inn, where he will spearhead the culinary experience across the inn, as well as our two on-site restaurants, Charlie's Restaurant & Irish Pub and Papa's Rooftop. We can’t wait for you to experience what he’s cooking up. 🍽️
