Tears still aren’t dry yet, but we want to be sure to celebrate our friends, really, our family, Jimmy & Renee Koback, with their new bar Jimmy’s Whiskey Wishes. They are opening up tomorrow at 11am!! We could not be more excited for them! Come see the faces you know so well and have a drink (or six) 😉. And because I know you all are wildly supportive, I am certain you will all use the post below to follow the new page. 🙃

Again. Our heartfelt gratitude is immeasurable. Please spread the support to this new venture. We love you all and cannot wait to see you. ❤️

My heart is filled with emotions as I write this. As many of you know, Dewendys has recently sold to some incredible friends of ours. It has been an amazing 18 years in business.
We’ve had some obstacles - going smoke-free, closing down when the property was put up for auction, as well as the infamous COVID shut down. With the support of every single one of you, we were able to persevere, coming out stronger on the other side.
We have had great memories - Wine Exchangees were a chance to witness customers really letting their hair down, Sunday Packer Parties with delicious food and a great group of people, and our Pig Parties where we were able to raise over $25,000 for local organizations like Hospice, St. Judes, Meals on Wheels, Aspirus Breast Cancer Center, and the Family Crisis Center.
The biggest thing I can note about Dewendys is the family we’ve created, with Wendy being at the heart of it. Along the way we have lost and we have gained, but whether in times of grief or celebration, the Dewendys family has come together in an astronomical way.
On behalf of Wendy, as well as the team, we really truly cannot thank you enough. From the bottom of our hearts, we love you. ❤️
This is not a farewell, but hopefully a see you later. Wendy may have relocated to the other side of the bar, but most of your fav bartenders will still be slinging drinks with the new owners. Be sure to track Wendy down to congratulate her on the next chapter of life. Also be sure to watch for a couple more posts from us (once my tears have dried 😭).

Happy World Bartender Day to our beautiful staff. We would not be able to be the Dewendys everybody knows and loves without every single one of you. Also huge shout out to Dan Eron and Renee Koback (Jimmy) for stepping up to help all the time. You play a vital role in our success and we love you!

Folks, if you’re out and about, make sure to thank your bartenders, servers, hosts, anybody else in the service industry, it goes a very long way. They are the glue that holds your favorite establishments together. ❤️❤️

Today is the day!!! Come down and help us raise donations for breast cancer awareness and the family crisis center. Bottomless cup specials and Jell-O shots as well as lots of paddle raffles and basket raffles. Can’t wait to see you!! 🍻

GUYS. So so so many wonderful things going on right now. Today is the annual M.S. Bicycle Ride. One of the most fun fundraising events to participate in hands down. You can bike, ride on one of the wagons, or drive, or if you’re unable to attend in full, stop in at The Bar today and get in on some raffle baskets (I don’t have a pic but trust me, there are a lot and they all kick ass).

Also while you’re out and about, swing by to Dewendys to check out some baskets we’ve got for our Pig Party next Saturday which is raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness. Tickets will be available all week and during the event. We are also donating to the Family Crisis Center and they are in need of a lot of items (see pic) and we have a box near the baskets for donations.

Our community is one that rallies when people are in need, and it’s an absolutely beautiful thing to be a part of. We cannot thank everybody enough for all of the support for both of these events. We could not do these things without you.

Hello Dewendys family and friends.

While we always try to keep things lighthearted here, we are dealing with a tragedy that hit our family in a way that is indescribable.

We will be closed tomorrow through Wednesday, reopening normal hours on Thursday. We appreciate your love, support, and patience as we work through this.

Please keep the Wiernik family in your thoughts and prayers, and help us send our beautiful Aubrey love by wearing green on Tuesday.

Hello there friends! Sorry Brit has been slacking on here. BUT. A couple quick announcements!

- This month we celebrate Dewendys GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY! 17 years on the 17th. Can you believe it? If you haven’t stopped by this month, (then what the heck have you been doing?) get in here and have a drink to help us celebrate!

- For those that do stop in, be sure to ask about grabbing a ticket for our beautiful basket full of lots of exciting goodies! Just don’t try to pick it up, it’s got some weight to it. 😉

- Our Annual Christmas in July wine exchange is Tuesday! Dress up a bottle and come have some fun!

And just like that it’s Milk Bottle time again! Jordan Bar and Grill got the season started off right (what an understatement) and we can’t wait to keep it rolling. In case you’re wondering how many players per team…I believe it’s five… 🤔😅. This year the Kim's Barrel Inn/Dewendy's Pub tournament will be held at Kim’s Barrel Inn. Be sure to stop by, grab a drink, and cheer (or heckle) your favorite teams. Can’t wait to see you there! 😉🍻
