Mountain Tap Brewery features fresh, innovative beers and artisanal wood-fired cuisine served up in a casual, family-friendly atmosphere. Craft beers range from a light, refreshing passionfruit wheat ale to a crisp, hoppy IPA to a dark and roasty porter. Everything cooked spends time in the huge wood-fired oven. and desserts including the very popular Campfire S’more. Located just across the Ninth Street Bridge from Howelsen Hill and within a stone’s skip of the Yampa River, the brewpub is a favorite gathering place for residents of and visitors to Steamboat Springs.

Batch 800(ish) Italian Style Pilsner Taps TODAY!

We brewed our 800th batch of beer back in March! Then we brewed our 813th batch which is tapping today! We got a little busy with brewing our core beers and had to push this very special brew back a couple weeks 🫣

This pilsner was given a full 2 months of cold lagering which results in a very smooth maltiness. It was thoughtfully dry-hopped with German Spalter Select and German Saphir hops to provide a delightful citrus, herbal, and floral aroma. Clocking in at 5.3%, this beer is tapping just in time to complement Steamboat’s warm summer days!

This beer’s recipe was inspired by Tipopils, a highly regarded Italian pilsner brewed by our friend Agostino Ariole at Birrificio Italiano in Lurago Marinone (near the Lake Como region of Italy). 🇮🇹

We’re kicking off tonight at Mountain Tap! Join us we tap up our annual collaborative brew with benefiting !

This light lager, fruited with Key Lime, is a summer quencher, perfect for time spent on the river. To celebrate its release, we’re throwing a party!
band will be picking on the patio from 5-8pm! FOTY will be on-site with info on what they’re up to and how you can get involved. And, of course, Hala Gear will have a few of their one-of-a-kind SUPs on display to get you STOKED for water sports!

This puckery ale is berry forward. Bushels of raspberry and boysenberry flavor and aroma burst from this tart, juicy, quenching, sour beer. It’s bright, tart and jammy with a beautiful pink hue.
