The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the overall operation of the location, while achieving company objectives in sales, quality, service, cleanliness, controls, and appearance, while creating and maintaining a positive, productive working environment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements:
Must have at least three (3) years of food and beverage experience, and ideally one (1) year of restaurant management/leadership experience.
Our managers will have outstanding leadership skills, are guest-focused and ideally proficient in both front and back of the house operations.
Continually monitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service.
Assumes 100% responsibility for our guests’ experience
Demonstrate high ethical standards at all times.
Support and implement Dante’s local and company-wide marketing programs
Complete and develop opening and closing checklists.
Strong knowledge of Labor Laws, Health Codes, Safe Food Handling and Sanitation policies and procedures.
Ensure that the restaurant operates efficiently and effectively within the Company’s fiscal and operational guidelines.
Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
Assist in the creation of restaurant rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
Responsible for restaurant P&L performance, including food and labor costs
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Clear communication skills are key in this role, as well as ability to adapt/react quickly as needed.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing and cooking a variety of meats, fish, vegetables, soups, pizza and other food products. Our kitchen utilizes broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment. Our cooks frequently rotate workstations to maximize efficiency. We expect that our cooks will maintain vigilant compliance with quality standards and kitchen rules to include maintenance of clean and sanitary work areas including tables, shelves, floors, walls, containers, and equipment.

Summary of Position:
To ensure an outstanding overall experience for the guests, so that they will want to return again and again. Provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains a Guest focus while performing duties.
Assumes 100% responsibility for quality guests’ experience.
Welcome and greet guests within one minute. Make all our guests feel special and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
Make specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system before taking item to the table.
Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter

Complete opening and closing checklists.
Maintain clean and stocked service and dinning areas.

Qualifications:

Learn the names and personally recognize our regulars.
Wash and sterilize glassware, as well as prepare, store, and rotate garnishes for drinks in accordance with proper bar and health code regulations.
Maintain sufficient levels of product at all times.
Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds.

The successful candidate will deliver our freshly made products from our Commissary Operations, as well as other items, to our other locations in the State College area. This position is morning and early afternoon hours.

Job Requirements:
Must have a clean driving record, a valid drivers license, and will work with little or no supervision.

Completes and files delivery paperwork in a timely manner.
Documents any and all product shortages and/or damaged goods.
