It hits harder today because Race is in the military. I was a younger woman with no kids on 9/11. I lived in NY as a young professional. My work group was like my family. A few of my closest loved ones were in the city & the worry and stress was so immense on that day and the days/years to follow . It stays with me. When you are older and reflecting back on that day with a child you helped raised who is serving our country, you think hard about about it all. The intel behind the scenes & what those that serve sacrifice is immeasurable. No matter where you were on that that day, almost all Americans have a story and remember it like yesterday. Race, Ryder & Rich were not even thought of but they may all have to fight for that day at some piont. I was a much younger version of the woman I am today. I pray for a government that will fight for US & all that we stand for. I pray for all the families and friends of those we lost on 09/11. My hope is that we never forget but I feel like many in NYC & in US have already forgotten because Mamdani is Mayor. The fight is real. The invasion from within has grown stronger. Make it make sense. Never forget🇺🇸
