The amount of hate we’ve received over the last two weeks has been incredibly disappointing.
I won’t post screenshots of who these people are because that’s not who I am, but we’ve had people call me, the bar, and our staff disgusting, and even tell us that we don’t belong in this town.
For the record, I’m an Idaho native, born and raised right here in the Treasure Valley. This community is my home too.
I completely understand that we’re not everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s okay. Not every business is for every person. But we have never done anything to this community that warrants the level of hostility, name-calling, and personal attacks we’ve received.
We work hard, employ local people, support local events and businesses and do our best every day.
You don’t have to like us. You don’t even have to visit us. But basic respect shouldn’t be too much to ask.
