This Week in Stanley: October 27-Nov 2 👻🍬

It's spooky season in the Sawtooths! Full moon, foggy mornings by the river, and a dusting of fresh snow have the halloween vibes hitting just right. We hope you'll join us this weekend for Mountain Village Resort 's Halloween Costume and Dance Party - more details about this below.

Out-of-town visitors will be pleased to find sunny afternoons, open hot springs, and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities this week in Stanley. You can expect a truly serene and peaceful visit for this last week of October.

While visitor activity may be quieting down, the hustle doesn't stop for our local businesses and town office. This time of year provides a short but critical window for completing things like building remodels, tree work, and parking lot expansions, all meant to minimize the impact on visitors as much as possible. Please respect closure signs and stay away from areas with active construction - we're just trying to make the Stanley-Sawtooth experience even better!

This Week in Stanley: October 20-26 🧘‍♂️🌟

If you're looking to reset, reflect, and mentally recharge, Stanley is a great place to be right now. Trails, beaches, and camping areas - normally at-capacity in the summer - have shifted to become your own private oasis of peace and serenity. There are a variety of lodging options with open availability as well.

Mountain Village Resort (7 days a week), Papa Brunee's Pizza & Subs (Friday-Saturday), and the Stanley Supper Club (Friday-Sunday) are open and ready to serve up delicious and hearty fall meals. The Supper Club's last day of fall dinner service will be Sunday, October 25th (don't worry, dinner and a new winter menu will be back in January!)

On the way into town, TᕼE 𝕊ᗩᗯᗰIᒪᒪ 𝕊TᗩTIOᑎ (Bistro's last day October 31st) and Smiley Creek Lodge are open and ready to refuel you with meals and gasoline as well.

Come find your zen, finish that book you've been writing, lay down chords for your next album, mix in a trail run for the marathon you're training for, photograph a stunning fall sunset, or rest your weary bones in a hot spring.
