Thank you to everyone who has been making our fire recovery dinners so successful!  We’ve loved bringing the spirit (and the menu!) of Half Acre to new venues.

Our series continues this Saturday, January 20th, at Platekill Mountain. Cap off a day of skiing with dinner, or simply join us for an evening by the slopes.  Tickets available at the link in bio!

On December 1, our restaurant, Half Acre Catskills, suffered a total loss during a fire on Main Street in Stamford, New York, that consumed two mixed-use buildings. In an effort to further our mission of bringing community together, while offsetting some of the catastrophic loss sustained during the fire, we are presenting a series of prix- fixe fundraising dinners, beginning Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

Dates and locations for future dinners will be posted and communicated, so please stay tuned.  Confirmed locations for future dinners include: Watershed Roxbury, Platekill Mountain, and The Mill Pond Inn.

Our dream to create a restaurant for Stamford became a reality with the help of our Mayor Robert Schneider. He was there at the beginning and also to the end. Months of renovations and sustained commitment to our staff and our business evaporated in minutes. Our tireless efforts to recreate in the historic location a space to enjoy good food from local farmers and producers, many of whom we have known for a decade, have been quashed. We are proud that what our team realized was enjoyed and celebrated by locals, weekenders and visitors. The outpouring of concern and well wishes has been comforting. We will not stop making opportunities for our communities to gather, grow, create, and celebrate. We thank you all for your support. Stay tuned!
