✨️Will, Will, Will. Lookie who it is! My other half. The other reason SL exists, literally. Fun fact, he just kinda brought a broken hot dog cart home one day and felt I shouldn't hide my abilities from everyone by staying home all the time. He believes in me when I can't see anything in myself to make the effort. Annnddd because of that he lifts and unloads all of my cakes and equipment 😅. Balance!

But seriously, Willie D, thank you SO much for being the battery in my back. Thank you for building a world for us that supports a safe lifestyle for me and our kid. For all the sacrifices you make, mopping the floors, stacking a cake that one time I got vertigo, rubbing my back when I'm writhing in pain from work, showing up with energy for our community, listening to me vent and put out fires, assembling the next piece of furniture at the shop and being a great father to our girlie! Of course there's plenty of other things, but you wouldn't have it get too serious.

So I hope you're enjoying building something with me as much as I am with you, Big Boi! Ily🥰

Sweet Luncheonette wouldn't ever exist in the same way without my favorite little person...not so little anymore though. 🥹

Sweet Pea, My Ren, thank you so much for standing by me all these years. Every cake delivery, you are there. The days and nights can sometimes be long for me, so we'd do our best putting you somewhere comfy to sleep until we made it home. How blessed am I to have you AND to have a purpose in this business that is so much bigger than one's ego?!

I have been able to watch you grow a ton over the years. And as of late, turn into quite a little hospitality clone.😁 It's been wonderful doing so. I'm spoiled with you.

No matter what, I always want you to know how much better you are than me. You have so much potential and a big heart. And you are why this business still has a pulse.

Thank you for making me better, Lil' Mama. 10 years...cheers.

🍾This month, we've hit 10 years of business. 10 years have been filled with so, so much. Ups, downs, missed celebrations, missed funerals, friends coming and going, from everything is terrible to everything is lovely...that's how it's been for me.

But overall, I'm very pleased with what I have built, the thousands of cake slices, small bites and pours I have managed to share with a destination and local community...largely as an army of 1. What. A. Treat.

When I walk to my vehicle in the mornings, I generally say, "I GET to make someone's cake today. I GET to feed people today. I GET to present w**e today." And it's true. I couldn't do it without y'all's support and willingness to grow with me.

Thank you for taking a chance on me, y'all. 🙏🏾
