Continuing our look back at musicals moments. On a Monday night In 2007 we were paid a visit by the one and only Tom Jones. He walked in on a band break with his tour manager and ordered a bottle of champagne. He was enjoying all of the old blues programmed on our house system while putting a dent into his bottle of champagne.The.Band that night was The Hard Tale Blues Band.. after a couple of songs a dialogue between Mr. Jones and the band began and next thing you know he is up on stage singing his heart out. Singing not his songs but old blues songs and early rock. He just killed it.. ended playing the rest of the evening while finishing that bottle of champagne. I got to sit around with him after closing and listen to him to talk about his history..His performance with Janis Joplin and even an argument with John Lennon on the set of "Thank Your Lucky Stars"
