The Civil Life hosts a cozy, two-level indoor pub with seating for 80, as well as an expansive outdoor beer garden shaded by sturdy umbrellas, packed with plenty of seating, and surrounded by well-manicured flora. We focus on sessionable, malt-driven beers (including an occasional well-balanced IPA), and have earned a reputation for brewing solid examples of the world's most respected beer styles—

producing around 3200 bbls annually. Bottles of wine and 6-packs of our beer are also available to-go. Our brand-new kitchen and recently updated menu complement the high standards we strive for in our brewing, while our friendly staff works diligently to make your pub stay enjoyable. And remember to look for us on draft at your local watering hole, or in cans at your local retailer.

Week 3 is upon us! We are always immensely thankful for your support! Our last USA Friday day match on Juneteenth exceeded our planning estimations by over 120 people! Thank you for your patience! In 24 years of running a business I had never been that wrong before in estimating and you can believe it when I say, I lost sleep over seeing beer lines that long. Given the massive showing, we still made it and all of you were so kind and understanding. Kudos to our kitchen staff! They bring it every day but on a day like that, we scrambled pulling staff in early and serving hundreds of meals. Its a Thursday night showing this week but don’t miss out! We’ll be ready! Our Soup Sunday team is on it (No group is better prepared) and even Jeremiah (our former amazing food-runner) is making a guest appearance so please come hungry and say hello to him!!! I’m out of town this week and likely will miss the big Thursday night match there but know you all are in the best of hands. Oddly that will mean I actually get to watch the match! Let’s do this!!

Week 1 was a resounding success! Check out Week 2's Schedule! A huge thanks to everyone that showed up to watch a match at the ole Civil Life. The USA vs Paraguay match was the most packed we have ever been! For me it was extra special as it was so good to see so many people enjoying the space the staff, and I work so hard on improving and maintaining! Just the flowers alone by Margaret, my mom and Teresa are enough to draw people in...but it's a complete package with the beer and the great food. Come see us World Cup on or not, and keep us on the map! It's not easy these days, but we seem to be doing okay. Cheers!

We are ready for tonights USA vs Paraguay match! We have three outdoor screens. 100 inch, 85 inch and 75 inch and projectors on both floors of the pub. Come see us! Kitchen is open till 9 pm. We will have the match pumped through our sound system as well! Cheers! We'll post the watch schedule every week on Instagram, Facebook and our website. It's just about here. Final preparations are underway. We have a new 100 inch outdoor tv (last month) on our outdoor wall. We'll be moving our 75 inch TV to the right of the wall and we have a new 85 inch tv for the patio in front of the pub. We also have our projectors inside and upstairs. Our plan is sound through out top notch system for all the big games and others that have a large viewership. The World Cup is a magical time and we hope you and your family will come join us for some of the matches!!! Please no outside food or drink! Please no balls, sports stuff. Bring your kids and eat dinner too. Let's do this.
