Recently someone affiliated with our tavern went to another business in town and people there made a lot of negative remarks about us and our business, to the point that it made them very uncomfortable. We know that this has been going on for some time now and sadly we can't really understand the motivation behind it.
We support all the businesses in Spruce Pine, Mitchell, Yancey and Avery Counties. The more we support each other, the more we will foster and create and environment that is welcoming and fun for everyone - locals and visitors. We all went through Hurricane Helene together and those of us who survived all helped each other and supported the area's rebuilding and recovery. Don't let those memories fade!

Decided to do some live painting Sat night at the Tavern while the JackTown Ramblers were playing. I got a later start than I had planned,so I still have a ways to go to finish, but it was fun. We had a great crowd and the band was awesome as usual! Pastels on board

Happy Monday Everyone...we are changing our hours just a bit and will not be open for lunch on Tuesday or Wednesday right now. We're maximizing our small kitchen staff and focusing on our quality gourmet pizzas and nighttime events. We will still be open for lunch Thursday - Saturday, which has been our most consistent days for lunch service. Small town, small staff, BIG quality! Thanks for your understanding.
