‼️‼️"BUT GOD"‼️‼️
We got our conditional use permit approved! 💜☀️
I have prayed so much about being able to share those words. Sunshine and Grace Second Chances is one step closer to opening a home for women in recovery right here in Magnolia.
These past few months have been full of meetings, paperwork, questions, and waiting. There have been days I felt encouraged and days I wondered how I was going to make this happen. But I kept coming back to the women who need this home and why I started.
To everyone who has prayed, donated, written a letter, shown up at a meeting, or simply told me to keep going—thank you. You have helped me more than you know.
Thank you to the Planning Commission for approving our permit and giving us the opportunity to move forward.
There is still work to do and funding to secure before we can open our doors, but today I’m taking a minute to thank God and appreciate how far we’ve come.
I can’t wait for the day we get to say, “Welcome home.” 💜
