Sportsman's Lounge and Restaurant Locally owned, downtown Springfield business serving great food and drinks while providing a fun and The Tavern/Restaurant located at 229 W. Mason St.

was established in 1935: Walter G. Ihlenfeldt beer and lunch. In the years following, the address was the site of Benner’s Tavern, Hammon’s Tavern, Larsen Tavern, Heinie’s Sportsman’s Lounge and, finally, Sportsman’s Lounge. The tavern is known for its HUGE hand-pounded pork tenderloins, chili and burgers.
