Serving the largest selection of Bavarian & German beer paired with Steakhouse, Seafood & German fare Gluten free and vegetarian entrees are also available.

Our restaurant and bar is the perfect place to enjoy our take on delectable, made from scratch German fare. Dine in our restaurant, surrounded by wood paneled walls, stained glass windows and one of the largest collections of beer steins in the U.S. We’re a family friendly establishment and have a children’s menu in addition to our daily offering of lunch and dinner specials. Enjoy staples off our

menu, like Nuremberg Sausage, Potato Pancakes, Vichyssoise Soup, Schnitzel, Stuffed Veal Steak, Hungarian Goulash, Bratwurst, Filet Mignon Rossini, Lamb Shanks, Broiled Boston Scrod and Chicken Paprika. All entrees are served with a choice of two sides, which is a difficult choice when your options are German Potato Salad, French Fries, Mashed Potatoes, Red Cabbage, Sauerkraut, salads and more. Our selection of draught and bottled European and domestic beers is superb. The Student Prince bar also offers wine, liquor and signature cocktails. The Student Prince Cafe is the perfect place for your next function. Our Heidelberg room seats up to 85 people and is a great location for a rehearsal dinner, corporate sales meeting, holiday party, fundraiser, cocktail party or any special occasion.

Join us Labor Day Weekend at The Student Prince! 🍻

Enjoy your favorite German fare, cold drinks, and live music indoors from Dawn Bourbeau on Saturday, September 5th from 6–9 PM.

Please note that outdoor dining is temporarily paused while the City of Springfield repairs a water line. We appreciate your patience and understanding!

We’ll be back up and running well before Mighty Oktoberfest and look forward to enjoying outdoor dining with you again soon.

On Thursday, September 10 from 6–9 PM, we're hosting a special Cancer Awareness Fundraiser during our Sommerfest Block Party. Enjoy live music from The Brat Pack, great food, cold drinks, and an evening of community support.

All donations collected during the event will benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, leading into the Ken O'Neill Dawn to Dusk Golf Marathon to benefit the Jimmy Fund on September 14, as well as the Andy Yee Palliative Care Unit at Mercy Medical Center

Come celebrate, support an important cause, and help make a difference for patients and families impacted by cancer.
