TOP GUN FINAL 4!!
Matches start at 2pm Sunday afternoon.

MATCH #1
(1) Jesse Buck
vs (4) Mikey Brooks.

For the 3rd consecutive year these two face off in a semi final match. Mikey holds a perfect record against Jesse in the playoffs, but Jesse got the best of Mikey earlier this year in the regular season. Jesse has been in great form of late and looking to finally get over the hump and make it to the finals. Standing in Jesse’s way is Mikey Brooks, one of the most successful darters in the history of the Springfield darts. Mikey has taken second place in both years of the Top Gun and is looking forward to a possible redemption tour. This is going to be an exciting match featuring two of Springfields best.

MATCH #2
(2)Joel “The Prospect” Schilke
vs (6) Larry “The Eagle” Butler

Joel comes into the match with the highest tournament average of all remaining players but Larry has won both previous head-to-head matchups between the two. Joel was the inaugural Top Gun Champion in 2024 and is looking to reclaim his title. Schilke will have his hands full as he faces arguably the most accomplished darter in the history of the United States. Larry is the 1994 Matchplay World Champion and has been a Premier leader in the CDC here in the states. This matchup is destined to produce fireworks.

Then come down to Cedar Pub this week to watch some matches from our Top Gun Singles League. This week we are finishing up the Top 16 and starting our Quarterfinals.

Tuesday: 2 Matches

MATCH #1 - Final match of Top 16.

Tony Mo Reiss (7 Seed)
vs Andy Pohl (10 Seed).

Tony has been representing Dayton as a premier shot for the quite a while and is making his first run in the Top Gun League. Andy Pohl is also in his inaugural year in the league and has quickly established himself as a darter to be reckoned with. The winner will book their spot in a quarterfinal match against the 2 Seed, Joel Schilke.

Match #2 - Quarterfinals Match

Larry “The Eagle” Butler (6 Seed) vs. Dallas “Meow” Washington (14 Seed).

Larry is arguably the most accomplished dart thrower in North American history. Dallas Washington is coming off the biggest upset in Top Gun history when he took down the 3 Seed in his Top 16 match. Can he continue his cinderella run against the dart legend?
Both matches start at 630pm.

Thursday: 2 Quarterfinals Match

Match #1 -

Mikey Brooks (5 Seed)
vs. Vince Jones (4 Seed)

Two of Springfield’s perennial powers, both of these darters have been top in their craft for years. They have earned multiple individual and team awards in their career and are looking to add “Top Gun Champion” to their list of accomplishments.

Match #2

Jesse Buck (1 Seed)
vs. Ron Washington (8 seed)

Ron is a fast climbing darter in Springfield and making his inaugural debut for Top gun. Ron will be looking to take down the top seed in the tournament and put everyone else on notice. Jesse is looking to continue his impressive form from the regular season in his pursuit of his first Top Gun Championship Belt.
Both Matches start at 7pm.
