Goodmorning unfortunately today will be Whiskey Jacks last day open. I have decided to close the doors for good. It has been an awesome 4 years. I have been working the bar most of this time. 3 years ago I decided to buy it from the previous owner. In August of 2024 I had a really bad fall due to a heart condition in the fall I broke my neck and my back I also broke my wrist. My neck and back healed amazingly but my hand and wrist did not I have had three surgeries on it and the doctors can just not get it to move. The last year I have been working the shifts with bartending with one hand but this last surgery I had is taking longer to heal. We all know that downtown business struggle so it is very hard for me to continue to pay someone to help out. We love all of our customers who have became our friends and family we will miss all of you deeply. I want to thank all of you for your support I also want to thank DJ WayZee for all the fun and helping us bring in Awesome customers. I want to thank Bill Steele for always providing us a great band and being our biggest fan. One last Thankyou to DSI for always working so hard to make downtown great again! Let’s go out with a St paddy’s day parade bang. I can’t wait to see all of you! Be safe and have fun😊
