It's been coming for a while now, and it's still hard to actually put it into words, but Flightline will be suspending our operations as of September 24th. We've been asked to leave the Springdale Municipal Airport, and I'm not really interested in adding "City Hall" to the list of uphill battles I have to fight to maintain my business. We'll be taking some down time to rest and recuperate while we look for our new home! Come see us before our "Departure" and say "see you later!"

Officially got the "Green Light!" Everything is back within acceptable limits! We'll be going back to our full time hours beginning Tuesday July 26th. We'll be open 10-2 this week, and 9-noon this Saturday to prep for a private function, then back to the normal schedule! We're going to use the extra time this week to finish some projects to enhance Flightline experience!!

Good News/Bad News!!

I like to finish on a high note, so I'll lead with the bad... we're going to be closed Tuesday July 12th and Saturday the 16th this week

Tuesday is hopefully my last doctor's appointment for a while, but after the way it all went last week, I'm not taking any chances! Sorry to anyone who came in Wednesday last week. :(
Saturday we'll be closed to prep for a private event, but we don't want to leave anyone without planes and food! Here's some other aviation related events with some great grub to enjoy!!

Good News! If all goes well Tuesday, we'll be back to our normal hours starting the following week!!! We also want to start experimenting with other hours and ideas, so stay tuned for more information on that!!

I can't lie folks... the last few months have been rough, not just for me personally, or the business... but the whole **gestures vaguely**... ya know?!? Lots going on in the world and here at home. Even though business has been slow lately, and could potentially slow more dramatically after this post, I can't, in good conscience, continue to operate as if nothing has changed.

When a group that is un/under-represented in the spaces where decisions are made, has their rights limited... this is an injustice. Anyone affected who is hurting, alone, needs assistance, or just wants to talk to someone with an open mind... feel free to reach out to us on here, or come by during operating hours... I'm always available for a dad hug, and Miss Dee may be persuaded for a mom hug or two!

If you feel a different way about our stance , feel free to come by and discuss anytime as well. When we say "Everyone is welcome here", we mean it! That said... certain behaviors will not be tolerated, as in any establishment. I've never let a difference of opinion come between friends and I won't start now, but differences in morality are a different story.

With the exhaust fan not working in the kitchen, the heat builds up quite quickly. For that reason, we've decided to close until the exhaust fan is working properly again. Word is, parts should be in Monday or Tuesday! We'll keep you posted. In the meantime, here are some things you may want to check out since we won't be open...



Airshow. The Friday show will be an afternoon/night show. Show
begins at 6:30 pm. Show time for Saturday will be 1:00. The airport will
close to transient aircraft one hour before Showtime. Lots of world-class
Airshow acts including the AeroShell Team, Melissa Burns Edge 540, P-51 Acro
in QuickSilver plus other Warbirds, Les Shockley's twin jet powered fire
truck, the Pitts Raptor, Provost Jet demo, Bulldogs Formation Team,
Skydivers and more. Admission is $20 and kids 12 and under are free. Lots
of vendors and a great kids area.

June 25 - North Little Rock, AR - North Little Rock Municipal Airport (KORK)
EAA Chapter 165 4th Saturday Breakfast. *** Cancelled EAA Chapter 165
monthly breakfast at North Little Rock Airport on June 25th is cancelled.
This is due to all of our breakfast workers being needed to operate our
plane train kiddie ride at the BRYANT AIR SHOW on June 24th and 25th, Friday

Over the last week or so, it's been brought to my attention that I'm no longer in my 20's... I can't go as hard as I used to, and I don't bounce back from injury/illness as well as I once did. I miss the days of being at deaths door Monday, and showing up Tuesday 'bright eyed and bushy tailed'... but those days are gone! Last week I thought I'd be back at it Wednesday, and I was not prepared for that at all. Until I'm back to 100%, we're going to amend the hours a bit to make it more manageable for me!

Even the sky is crying today. Anthony Bourdain was an icon in the culinary world, and inspired many to enter the industry (including myself) with his memoir "Kitchen Confidential".

Four years ago today he left us, but he also left us so many wonderful memories, recipes, and hours of content to watch as he enjoys culinary creations from around the world.
