Grab a friend and join us at Vintage Vines on Friday, October 23, for Tarot Card Readings - SVPPII with Bonnie and Liz!

Whether you're a little curious, a little skeptical, or you've had your cards read before, it's a fun excuse to get together for a glass of w**e and something different.

Readings are $20 cash for 10 minutes, paid directly to your reader. A $1 reservation holds your time and goes toward a Vintage Vines purchase.

We've got openings throughout the evening, but you'll want to pick your time ahead of time.

For just $5, you can take a chance on a new varietal, explore another Illinois w**ery or finally try the bottle you keep passing over. Every bottle is taste-checked before it reaches your glass.

Apparently, we weren't decorating alone. šŸ‘»

Wednesday night, Rori and Heidi were decorating Vintage Vines when someoneā€”or somethingā€”decided to join them.

Then, this morning, the REM POD started going off again. So JC went to investigate.

We've been digging through nearly a century of Spring Valley history. We have names. We have stories. We know some of the people who walked through these rooms long before Vintage Vines existed.

But here's the questionā€¦

Are they still here?

Saturday, October 24, we're going looking for answers during the Spring Valley Paranormal Project II Ghost Hunt.

šŸ‘» Just another morning at Vintage Vinesā€¦ testing ghost-hunting equipment.

JC here! I was setting up my REM-POD on the bar and caught the whole thing on our security camera.

This little device is designed to beep and flash when something disturbs its electromagnetic field. Paranormal investigators use it to look for possible activity.

Will anything set it off? I'll keep you posted!

Vintage Vines was built around a simple idea:

Celebrate the people making great things right here in Illinois.

Heidi spent years attending Vintage Illinois, visiting vineyards and falling in love with Illinois w**eā€”not just what was in the bottle, but the growers, w**emakers and families behind it.

That became the heart of our little w**e bar.

Any w**e bar can order bottles from a distributor. We travel to the vineyards. We meet the people growing the grapes and making the w**e. We taste it, learn its story, load up the vehicle and bring it home to Spring Valley.

When you order a glass at Vintage Vines, we want you to experience more than w**e. We want you to meet a little piece of Illinois.

Last summer, inside this building, we saw something we still canā€™t really explain.

What we can only describe as a full-body apparition.

At the time, we didnā€™t know most of these names.

We didnā€™t know I.J. Jagodzinski.

We didnā€™t know Bertha lived upstairs at 107Ā½ W. St. Paul.

We didnā€™t know about Joe Cavaletto.

We didnā€™t know nearly this much about Margeā€™s Tap.

We do now.

On October 24, when we investigate Vintage Vines during the Spring Valley Paranormal Project II, weā€™re not just walking into an old building with equipment.

Weā€™re walking into a place with more than a century of documented names and stories behind it.

And this time, weā€™re bringing the names with us.

And we're not complaining.
