Last night was hands down our best show yet. We got to celebrate K?D's music and his retirement to an intimate crowd of fans while showcasing talent from Salt Lake City, Boise, and our very own from Spokane. We even had some people drive for 13 hours to attend this show, not to mention Moscow, Seattle, and Boise. This was absolutely a bucket list booking for many of us and definitely a once in a lifetime performance.
We would like to thank Race Carr and Star Carr for saving our ass with a logistical issue that was handled extremely well and swiftly, Lost Vibe Music , Raskl, AMBIENCE and Controlled Chaos for playing their hearts out and providing a fresh performance for us and supporting the show, Jules Marie and Jes Lynn Baber for dancing on stage, The Red Room Spokane for always believing in us and providing a safe environment to party in, and most importantly the 100 or so from far and wide that showed up! Its because of YOU that we throw these parties. You keep showing up and we will keep throwing them 💁‍♂️

Regional Spotlight: AMBIENCE, salt lake city

Sage, professionally known as Ambience, is a rising force in the SLC melodic bass scene. His music and performances are immersive experiences created by the perfect balance of heavy bass lines and euphoric melodies. He draws some of his inspiration from artists like Illenium, Dabin, and Said The Sky. He has also shared the stage with Illenium, Trivecta, Armnhmr, Kill The Noise, Haliene and more.

Ambience has the ability to inspire and connect with others through music in a beautiful way. He is motivated by sharing experiences with others, his love for music, and the joy that music brings to not only himself but also those around him.

When you get to know Ambience, you quickly learn that he is incredibly kind and excited to share the love through the music he he plays/produces.

We met Sage on our SLC tour stop when he won the yellow brick road competition, and then he camped with us at Dancefestopia. Its been an absolute pleasure getting to know him and to see him live in both salt lake city and on the Forrest stage at Dancefestopia. When we accepted the offer for K?D he was the first artist that came to mind for support as his music and perfomance is nearly parallel.

Regional Spotlight: Controlled Chaos

The name Controlled Chaos itself is a contradiction, which perfectly describes the high energy, melodic, genre blurring sound of the Boise based artist. With over 10 years experience in the Boise music scene, not only performing but helping produce shows with multiple companies and helping to build the scene into what it is today, all with the goal of sharing emotion through music.

Matt Hill is a gem of a human. During our Boise stop on last years tour he ran artist relations for us and treated us like absolute royalty so we figured its on us to return the favor. Hands down the best AR we have ever worked with and an even more talented dj. We are so hyped to have such a huge figure out from Boise representing the scene!

Spokane, get ready. SMOAKLAND is coming to The Red Room on Friday, October 16th!

Bay Area duo Anthony Battaglia and Harrison Hays formed Smoakland in 2018, building a sound rooted in nostalgic, old-school dubstep mixed with the heavy bass energy they’ve become known for.

Since then, Smoakland has made serious waves across the bass music scene, playing major stages and festivals across the country and releasing music on Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats label. Their Deadbeats EP Smoak Sesh reached #1 on Beatport’s Dubstep chart, further cementing their place in the modern bass scene.

Lets talk about regional talent for a sec.

First off no one is booking regionals and bringing them to Spokane multiple times a month like us and its not even close. Be it headlining or support slots we have the best track record of providing Spokane with fresh talent, and we are definitely the only ones doing it on a weekly basis.

We book regionals for several reasons but the main ones are to represent Spokane in a positive light and to give locals an opportunity to network with a representative of a distant market. When we reach out to promoters or djs in different markets (or when they reach out to us) with the intention of booking them the first thing we ask is if they are capable of getting Spokane djs booked out that way. We can provide a stage with full production and a crowd, what can you offer in return?

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Raskl

Eastern Washington isn't typically the place you find much variety in music. It consists of mostly country, top 40, and your occasional metal head. Aside from the radio, it is fairly difficult to find artists pursuing an electronic production career, let alone pursuing it with passion and dignity, but Raskl is here to change that and to revive the EDM community with his hard hitting bass, choppy synth sounds, and chaotic in your face stage presence.
Raskl (Dylan Chandler) is an independant Producer/Dj based out of Spokane, Washington.
With the releases of his "Know Love" and "Synthetic Sound" Eps along with singles and remixes, some on labels, the hype has begun running rampant on the ears of many in the Northwestern states and numerous other electronic scenes as well. Raskl is always one to pack a dance floor once behind the decks.

Its no mystery of Dylan's impact on the bass scene in Spokane. From hard hitting dubstep shows at the knit to packed Jersey Club nights at the red room and countless support slots in between.
