Summer doesn’t announce itself around here. It just shows up one Sunday afternoon, warm and unhurried, and suddenly you remember why you live in this neighborhood.
Music on the Lawn is back.
Sundays, 4 to 7pm, we’re opening up the yard. Live music. Cold drinks. Food worth sticking around for. Lawn games if you’re feeling competitive. A blanket on the grass if you’re not. Grab a table, join some friends, or snag a lawn chair and just let the afternoon do its thing.
No cover. No rush. All ages welcome.
Here’s who’s coming out this summer:
May 31 — Just Plain Darin. Spokane’s hardest working musician — a powerful vocalist, prolific songwriter, and one of the most genuinely engaging performers in the PNW.
Jun 7 — Dallas Kay. Our regulars fav. Local singer-songwriter rooted in country and raised right. Warm voice, good songs, exactly the right vibe for a Sunday on the patio.
Jun 14 — Tucker James. Live-looping multi-instrumentalist who somehow sounds like a full band showing up solo. Versatile and unexpected.
Jun 21 — Jona Gallegos. Spokane acoustic singer-songwriter with a poet’s ear. The kind of music that makes you actually listen.
Jun 28 — Ron Greene. A Spokane institution — 20 years deep, groove-oriented soul and blues-pop with the warmth of John Mayer and the fire of Lenny Kravitz.
Jul 19 — Dallas Kay
Jul 26 — Jona Gallegos
Aug 2 — Jamison Sampson. Born into music, shaped by California, back home in Spokane. Originals and covers that land somewhere between heartfelt and a full-on party.
Aug 9 — Dallas Kay
Aug 16 — Dave Long. A songwriter who bridges the gap between that nostalgic sound you love and what you’re actually thinking about right now. Catchy, real, and worth your Sunday afternoon.
We kick it off Sunday, May 31st with Just Plain Darin. Come early if you want a table. Come whenever if you don’t.
This is what the neighborhood is for.
