Lots of owners of many businesses in this great IGL region have been around for a long time, we are one of them, with customer support , employee support , the whole mix of the equation it takes for longevity.
I took over Sillbilly’s 23 years ago today the 23rd of October on a Monday like today. A week from today my great friend since he moved here in the 8th grade took over the Naughty Pine, a place we temporarily looked at together when we both without knowing it quit our jobs on the same day in July of 2000. I’ve been Sillbilly’s and then McKeen’s since Oct 23, 2000. Kevin Poock’s been Full Throttle and now Buck’s at a different building since Oct 30, 2000….
I mention Kevin in this post because we started this journey separate , but together , and it’s a nice story and history for us.
This post isn’t for any type of slap my/our back , it’s just a nice feeling that after a couple recessions and covid that We , and many others in our area, are still around and with same management /owners.
Also, I guess I’m old enough to reflect back😂. Thanks for all the customer and employee and family support ….

This week Tuesday , Sept 12 thru Friday , Sept 15, we will be open 11-4pm only and closed all day Saturday , Sept 16th.
Severely short staffed this week for the evening hours as half our staff will
be out of town. Sorry for any inconvenience , however it’s just the way it is.
Tuesday , Sept 19th - Sat sept 23rd should hopefully be a regular week again.
