I find so much joy in stepping back, taking a good look and appreciating the beauty in something that means so much to me.

It’s just a building to some but to me it’s so much more. The Lighthouse has not only provided an income for so many but also a place for laughter and relaxation, a spot for families to enjoy time with each other, peaceful views for everyone, delicious meals, and so many friendships.

This next week is what I consider the start of our summer season. We all look forward to another GREAT lake season. Be kind to us (customers and staff) this is our safe haven and home. We want you to enjoy it as much as we do!!! ♥️

Skiatook High School Graduation is Tonight!

The Lighthouse Eatery and Pub will be CLOSED so that we can all cheer for our favorite senior, Peyton!!!

Little background on Peyton -

Peyton was the very first employee interviewed and hired for The Lighthouse. She worked the very first shift and quickly became a lovable asset!

Peyton’s first few shifts was as a server but she quickly suggested that she shift to the back of the house and become my little shadow, personal side kick and line cook. Peyton’s work ethic kicked in to high gear and she absorbed everything she was taught. We have watched her grow in so many ways as an employee and overall amazing human being. She thrives in all she does!! Peyton and I worked so closely together so often that she titled herself as one of my baby ducks and I as Mama Duck.

My son Zachary and Peyton also worked closely together in the kitchen and built a beautiful relationship. 2 years later they are still thriving as one of the cutest couples I know. My daughter, Malorie and Peyton are also super close. Malorie is getting married in October and Malorie was so excited to ask Peyton to be one of her bridesmaids. Peyton has become family to us and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

From long shifts at The Lighthouse to family vacations - we have spent so much time together building a lasting relationship with this gorgeous girl. We are all so blessed to be in her orbit and are excited to have a front row seat to seeing where she goes from here.

Peyton is going to further her education into the field of Cardiac Radiography. I am positive that with her drive, determination and work ethic she is going to continue to make all of us so amazingly proud of her! Until then Peyton will continue working at The Lighthouse in both the back of the house and the front! Make sure to congratulate her on her graduation when you see her and tip her BIG when she serves you!

Ben and Meghan - yall have out done yourselves raising this sweet girl. Thank you for sharing her with my personal family and the entire Lighthouse crew and customers!

Plans for this weekend…

Friday - RESTAURANT is closed due to Skiatook Graduation and staff will be cheering our Peyton on!

BUT the bar upstairs opens at 8 pm. Johnny will be slinging drinks, Mitchell will be helping with crowd control and Steve Jones will be performing until 11 pm.

If crowd is steady once Steve is finished, we will start Karaoke. 🎤

Saturday - brunch from 11-1, Customer Appreciation Day from 1 to 5 at the Marina. Bar opens at 8 pm with Karaoke all night!

Sunday - open from 1-8 pm

We will be posting our Saturday and Sunday specials shortly!

We can’t wait to see everyone this weekend!
