Well ……. The Ugly Mug has been an adventure the last two days. Last night the power was out for an hour during dinner rush and live music. Tonight, like most in the area, we were without water for over two hrs… Again, during peak time with live music.

We thank those who were here and made it through it with us. Evan Cyote was great on stage and we all did the best that could be done all things considered. Thank you to my staff and all who were here. It ain’t easy without water….thats for sure.

Also, thank you to everyone working with public works; both yesterday with the power and tonight with the water. These things happen. As much of an inconvenience that it is, those working in the trenches to fix the issues are very much appreciated.

Back at it tomorrow with power and
water. Thanks again to everyone, both patrons and staff. 🤘🤘🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸🍻

Happy Friday Tennessee…….

To all that hung out with us last night, thank you for your patience when the power went out for a bit. The kitchen kept up in the dark and the live music continued until the lights came back on.

Tonight we welcome a new musician to The Ugly Mugs stage. Evan Cyote from St John’s County Florida is here tonight. Looking forward to her and her talents here at The Mug.

We slow roasted a bunch of pork butts as well. Put the pork where you want; in a sandwich, on top of nachos, loaded fries, or a flatbread.

It’s a different Friday. It’s a 9/11 Friday. The day that changed everything. Some have forgotten, some don’t care, but fortunately most of us remember it like it was yesterday. Let’s get back to who we were on 9/12. Sit next to a stranger and become a friend. Help when nobody is around to see you helping. Smile a lot and provide support when you can.
Love where you are and be grateful. Check on someone you don’t talk to as much anymore. Make it a habit.

All of this can continue or start at The Ugly Mug tonight. Kinship gets your weekend started tonight. Playing originals and some of your favorites from the 60’s, 70’s, and beyond. The full band is here as well. Always a great time with Kinship.

The fun continues this weekend at the Ugly Mug with Roland Rock and The Cowboy Fiddler. Very talented and a ton of fun. Lots a great tunes you wouldn’t expect out of a fiddle. Roland is great with his guitar and the vocals.

We did sell out of our Ugly Philly……It’ll be back next week along with another special.

Our Exotic Beast Burger continues. Equal parts of Elk, Bison, Wagyu, and Wild Boar. A top notch burger.
